Get Life Alert For Our Old Ones

My husband and I visited my mother-in-law every week when she was still alive. She got her own apartment with one bedroom, one bath with a nice living room and kitchen. Sometimes if we can’t visit her, we just call her or she will just call us to see if everything is ok. She was already old but still smokes cigarettes. She likes to eat ice cream before bedtime. My husband one time said that her life depends on cigarettes and ice cream. He wanted her to quit smoking because he might fall asleep while holding her cigarette and burn her to death.
One time we were talking to her nurse about what we can do so that we don’t have to worry about her so much. We told the nurse that we are working so hard to finish the house so that she can move with us and enjoy her life with nice sunset and fresh air. She asked us to get his mom a Life Alert monitor. She explained about this product to us while we were there at his mom’s place. The nurse said that if something happened to her, she can just push the button and the help will come on her way as soon as possible.
The Life Alert also detects smoke and this also one of the reasons why we get it for her. Now we don’t have to worry that she might get burned to death. Her life alert was able to help her so much. She was using it to remind her to take her medication on time. She also gets helped immediately if she needs someone to help her.
But life was so short. She is in heaven now.
